Sketch #5 In New London: week 2 #2

Sitting on the green and white porch of the New London Inn,
Cars passing by,
Different colors,
Green, Red, Blue, Sliver,
Different kinds,
Honda, Ford, BMW,
People walking on the sidewalks,
Wood stacked up,
I can see my breath,
My fingers start to get cold,
They start to turn pink as I type,
Moving in side were its warm,
With the smell of cinnamon,
Sitting on a comfortable couch,
I here a women talking to a man,
the women says to the man, "Yea, uh hu,"
Soft music in the background,
A another women on the phone in another room,
Walking to the café,
Cars rush by me,
Now sitting inside the College Café,
On a blue stool,
And older man, maybe mid 60’s to early 70’s,
Walks out on crutches,
A red truck parked right in front of the café,
Across the street the flag on the flag pole waves,
As if it were waving goodbye,
Inside the Café,
Baked goods are lined up underneath the counter,
Now time is up and I walk back to the bus.
