Bright light,
Silence in the room,
Books all over the floor,
Cords everywhere,
Teeny tiny specks of dirt on the floor,
The clock ticks,
My sparkled black and white hat hangs on the rack on the door,
The bright colorful lap shines up in on the ceiling,
My new Hawaiian beads that Amanda got me from Hawaii,
Hang from my dresser,
Pictures from graduation, magazines and from our New York eighth grade trip posted on the wall,
Shoes stack up one on top of another in my “closet,”
Now starting to get tiered and tiered,
But knowing that have more homework,
While doing homework with Haley and Amanda,
Amanda,
With her white tank top,
Her legs crossed,
Her pencil moving across the paper,
Talking to Haley,
Amanda says “Ahhh I hate homework!”
Then Haley responds, “ummm...yea we all do.”
Now Haley,
Wearing jeans and a sweatshirt,
Being her normal self,
Shoots rubber bands at me,
And sticks her tong out at me,
And now changing her pase,
Now she is very concentrated in her math work,
The silence now becomes a loud conversation,
Haley says, “I’m like no _______ shut the fuck up, I don’t want to tell you!”
Once again a silence in the room.

Now starting to get sleepy,
My eye lids begin to get heavier and heavier,
But knowing that have more homework,
While doing homework with Haley and Amanda,
Amanda,
With her white tank top,

Her pencil moving across the paper,
Talking to Haley,
Amanda says “Ahhh I hate homework!”
hen Haley responds, “umm…yea I think everyone does.”
Now Haley,
Wearing jeans and a sweatshirt,
Being her normal self,
